The content problem

Music At The Towers needed a website that parents could use quickly on mobile. Staff also needed to update schedules, programs, and announcements without waiting on a developer for every content change.

Nuxt and Directus

I used Nuxt 3 for the public site and Directus for content management. The goal was a CMS simple enough for staff to keep the site current after handoff.

Key decisions:

  • Nuxt 3 + Nuxt UI for rapid development
  • Directus CMS for staff-friendly content management
  • Mobile-first design for parent browsing

Website and CMS

  • Responsive website optimized for mobile browsing
  • CMS integration for schedules, programs, and announcements
  • Class schedule pages with easy filtering by age group and instrument
  • Program information with clear registration CTAs

Launch

The site launched at the end of the four months. Parents can find class times and program details on a phone, and staff keep schedules, programs, and announcements current from the CMS.
