The investor flow

Reitium was building a real estate investment product where people could review properties and start investing from the web. My work focused on the investor-facing frontend: property pages, dashboard views, forms, and the UI around investment workflows.

Building the first version

The first version needed to move quickly without making the financial flow feel rushed. I worked directly with the product team on account setup screens, investment forms, transaction states, and reusable UI for investor-facing pages.

Key decisions:

  • Next.js for SEO-sensitive property pages and frontend performance
  • Migrated from Tailwind to Chakra UI for faster iteration
  • Built frontend forms for complex investment flows

Investor dashboard and forms

  • Investor dashboard where users track their portfolio and returns
  • Investment flow UI that guides users from property discovery through key form steps
  • Form states and validation UI for investor onboarding and investment inputs
  • Reusable fintech UI components for cards, tables, status states, and account screens

Public launch

The first public frontend shipped in 3 months. The launch included the core investor-facing screens: property discovery, account areas, forms, and dashboard views.

The code and UI patterns were stable enough for the team to keep building after launch without an immediate rebuild.
